Amazing app. The only issue I had is the lack of variety in poets. Where are more recent visionaries like Angelou? Users should be able to request poems they would like to see brought to life again by the app.

Its a nice app, but after I accidentally removed it and downloaded it again I lost half of what I bought.
Nice and repetitive practice really speeds up the process of learning.
Was a great app, but sad that is no longer actively updated.
A great way to expand your mind with some poetry
The app seems to have some bugs for ios 10. Please update the app. When I launched it for the first time I had an alert that this app might slow down you phone. And my phone becomes clearly hot as I am using it.
This app used to be great...back when it got updates. The newest poem pack was added 3 years ago, and since then, nothing. This wouldnt be a huge issue if you could add your own poems, but for now its a dead app with costly fees for public domain works.
Simply amazing! I used to hate memorizing poems. This is something different now.
This is a terrific App. I find it lovely to look at, entertaining to navigate, and reasonably priced in terms of the poetry packages available for purchase. This is a delightful way to spend some time on my iPad.
A great idea, but with only two free poems, its a dangling carrot. True, poem packages are cheap, but I assume such poems are old enough that they dont require paying royalties.
Ive always wanted to learn Rime of the Ancient Mariner, so at first glance I was excited to see it available, but its divided into 7 parts, with each part available in a different bundle. So if I want just that one poem, I have to spend 7$ and get a bunch of poems I dont want. Please fix this and make all 7 parts a bundle of their own.
Bought the Gothic bundle on my iPhone but can not access the poems from my iPad. They can not seriously suggest that I have to pay for the same bundle again?!
Also, its not that good of a model. The best way to learn is "without error". Learning by trying will let you practice and maybe learn the poem, but after a while, when you want to remember it, you will make errors with the errors you made before (by taking guesses). The brain works with association, you will remember your errors too, which is bad.
Enjoying so far. Actually quite effective. Would really like to see the packages expand. Not enough material.
This is a very good app! I recommend this app! 5 stars!
Incorporates all learning styles...learn by reading, reciting, and listening! Beautiful design-bug-less interface! All apps should be this good!
Not quite "addicting" as the description claims, but yes, I practice several times daily and I am actually learning a poem! I will make my En 10 class memorize a poem and recite it using this ap.
During my undergraduate English degree, my Milton prof let us skip the final paper if we memorized and recited "Lycidas" to him. In the years since I have found that learning that poem by heart taught me more than any paper I could have written. At its heart poetry is meant to be memorized and recited, and learning a poem by heart is the only way to truly live inside of its language, rhyme, and meter. Ever since that Milton class, Ive wanted to learn more poems by heart - but its difficult! This app helps a lot. It turns the most trudging, annoying part of memorization into a game, complete with scores, achievements, and even Game Centre integration. The only downside with this apps method is that it doesnt help you figure out which line goes where - since the words you will need are always available, providing pretty obvious hints. That said, its a nice way to get more poetry into your life, which is always a good thing. One request though, developers? Tennysons "Ulysses". Please?
Is a terrific app, better than a brain game for helping with memory and much more enjoyable. Love it, use it every day.
I love this app! I wish there were some poems or segments of prose in French and other languages.
